Marian Cozma omorat - Romanian Handball Player Tragedy Romania

Romanian handball player Marian Cozma, aged 26, was killed Saturday night in a club in Veszprem, Hungary. Serbian Zarko Sesum and Croatian Ivan Pesic, other two players of the team MKB Veszprem, were injured in the incident too.

According to the local press, Cozma was stabbed through the heart, and was the only one who did not survive. The other two were taken to hospital, as they had been stabbed and seriously wounded.

Marian Cozma has been active in Romanias national team, and before being transferred to Vezsprem in 2006, he played for Bucharest team Dinamo.

- avea 2, 11 metri si purta marimea 51 la pantofi

- a castigat, in 2008, Cupa Cupelor, cu Veszprem (Ungaria)

- i se spunea Pasarila, dupa lunganul din povestea Harap Alb.

- era considerat un tip extrem de simpatic si popular

- jucatorul echipei HCM Constanta, Laurentiu Toma, spune despre Marian ca era un tip vesel care nu cauta niciodata scandalul, care facea mereu glume ca lumea sa se binedispuna

- oficialul clubului Veszprem, Csaba Hajnal, a declarat ca romanul Marian Cozma era "de o blandete exceptionala" si nu putea face rau nici unei muste
