COOL VID! Love your Lace Monitors... They are just plain beatifull. And a great track under it, some o'school house for ya there. :D
I just started out keeping monitor lizards, got two 7 wk old yellow ackies. A lace monitor is probably a dream that will never come true for me, not in Holland...

@MilanRotterdam thanks for your comments! The great thing about ackies is that they have all of the attitude and behaviour of larger monitor species in a smaller package that's more easily housed, so don't fret too much about not being able to get lace monitors.

Do you find that these guys become less secretive as they age at one point do you start handling them?

@aw8one it takes them a fair while before they become less secretive, but I don't handle them at all until they are well past that and actually start approaching me.
