I am afraid when you are parent you will realise YOU control everything your children do. Give them free will by all means, but when they are this young (re child above) the parents control their food, clothes, sleep, their life basically.

But I am glad you love David Bowie at your young age. To be honest he was old hat when I was 14. All my friends were listening to Wham, Spandau Ballet etc.

Stick with Bowie. Like a fine wine or cheese he really does get even better the older you get.
