Nick opens the passenger door and helps Selena in then gets in the drivers seat and drives off.
They get to iHop hungry as ever, it's now 8:30am. Brenda joins them around 9. They ate pancakes and talked and took tons of pictures. It was overall a fun, day. They went to the park, and outlets. They left around 6pm and went back to Brenda's house. The next few days were even better. Brenda went back to work but then suddenly, was laid off. She decided that it didn't matter as much, she was happy and sure enough she would get a job else where, she was actually thinking about adoption. Nick came over to visit every morning and took Riley out every afternoon, Selena's relationship with him was getting better and closer. As a family they were happy. Nick sleep over every here and there. It's been about a month and Selena decided to stay a little longer before leaving. After all, all her stuff was at David's house, it's just a matter of time before she finally moved back in with Nick and started being a real family.
Park--
Riley- *kicking her little legs* Daddy go up!
Nick- *laughs* I think that's high enough Ri
Selena- *sitting on a bench close by* They're so cute.
Brenda- *smiles* Your the luckiest girls in the world.
Selena- *smiles* I know, but so are you!
Brenda- *sighs* I guess, but unlike you. I don't have a steady boyfriend, nor do I have a baby.
Selena- *looks at Brenda* There are plenty of fish in the sea Bren, you'll catch yours one day. *smiles*
Brenda- *smiles* Your always so positive! *pulls Selena into a side hug*
Selena- *grins* I learn a lot when I'm with you.
Brenda- *smiles* Your the best, but I was actually thinking of adopting..
Selena- *shocked* Brenda! You should totally do it! You'll make the greatest mom ever! Plus, whoever the baby is, they'll have a beautiful new mommy. *smiles*
Brenda- *laughs* Over dramatic much?
Riley- *runs up to her mom* Mommy! I want ice ceam pweese?
Selena- *smiles* Where's daddy, why can't he take you?
Riley- *points to Nick laying on the grass about 10 feet away from them* Daddy sweeping
Selena- *giggles* Come on baby, let's go wake daddy up.
Riley- *shakes her head* No, mommy I want Aunty Benda *puts her arms out towards Brenda*
Brenda- *giggles* Ok, let's go for ice cream! Yummy! *Picks Riley up and walks to the ice cream, parlor on the other side of the park*
Selena- *laughs* She's so spoiled *walks off to Nick*
Nick- *groaning* No more playing Riley, daddy's tired
Selena- *giggles* Aww, come on daddy. One more game?
Nick- *looks up at Selena and smiles* Anything for you *sits up*
Selena- *smiles* Dork *sits down next to Nick with her legs streched out* Are you really that tired?
Nick- *crawls over to Selena's legs and lays his head down on her thighs* Very tired, who knew a one year old can wear some one out like that *closing his eyes*
Selena- *smiles taking one hand and running it through his hair* You both looked adorable playing.
Nick- *opens his eyes smiling, taking Selena's free hand and started playing with her fingers* She sure is something but, I was thinking...maybe we should should spend some more time with each other. I kinda miss our one on one time.
Selena- *sighs, still playing with Nick's hair* I do too
Nick- *sits up and cups Selena's face* You mean the world the me, you butt head
Selena- *giggles* Your SO romantic
Nick- *chuckles and starts tickling Selena*
Selena- *laughing* N-n-n-nick!!! S-s-stop!!!
Nick- *stops tickling and laughs, wrapping his arms around Selena's waist*
Selena- *whispers in his ear* Monkey face! *kisses his cheek*
