@bhilaj, He has surpassed tabla playing. He is controlling the tonal mode of rhythm. Something very few people in the world have the ear to do. Truly one of the greatest musicians the world has ever seen.

@NNezman My cyberfriend ! I'll tell you again Its boring , where i come from this is called freedom of speech and its that simple , you like it have for breakfast luch & dinner if you want. You cant sweepingly say i dont know whats going on believe me i do. I studied from his father & i know Zakir personally & he is welcome to tell me if i am playing something boring - However i did not say it wasn't musical - The other comments seem to enquire after Sultan Khan &Zakir is just warming his hands

Now what Ustad Zakir is doing here has brought me immense joy from a technical, musical and expressive perspective.
Now look at other comments left by other viewers of this video that simply shows that many have also enjoyed this clip.
