Student USAF research pilot Capt. Michael Lee flying high altitude test of experimental rocket plane out of Dryden Centre, Edwards AFB. Pressure gear on this flight is an MC-4B full body rubber bladder and capstan pressure suit, with integral anti-G suit and pressure gloves and boots. Helmet used is the MA-4B full-pressure model with the inner rubber helmet fitted with inflatable anti-G bladders and containing the helmet earphones. Helmet assembly is sealed to the pressure suit with an inflatable neckseal bladder.
Clip taken by on-board cockpit camera at altitudes between 180,000 and 230,000ft. Outside temp -70C.( All voice comms between pilot and ground control edited out to comply with airforce security regs).
