On February 17 at 11:59 p.m., three TV stations in Orlando shut off their analog signals as part of the nation's transition to all digital broadcasting. The rest of the local stations will shut off analog on June 12.

Here is a video of what it looked like when those stations turned off analog; as part of an art installation by Brian Feldman called "The End of Television: Part II" at Say It Loud! / Orange Studio."

  • ... so sad .. i used to love falling asleep to the sign off's and found them to be patriotic ... i can't help but give analog tv some human qualities to it ... it wasn't perfect and was fuzzy just like like my head would be waking up in the middle of the night with a hangover ... bye analog tv! ...
