  • Finally a doctor who understands the patients needs. I am in the third year of chronic pain management. After growing up in Maine, where a majority of doctors have been conditioned to prescribe adjuvants instead of opoid treatment I am lucky enough to live in CO, where I have had the freedom to decide between analgesic treatment and even MMJ (which didn't ease my pain) I am greatful for the wonderful physicians in this state but even now I still feel that policeman in the room!

  • I despize the DEA I really wish their little twisted beauracracy dissapears they are evil, even as a cancer patient I could not get adequate releif from my pain and suffering, my nausea medecine is not working but the pussy state of Arizone does not allow medical marijuana. Damm how I hate them >:(

  • Dr. Deluca, I appreciate the great risk you are taking to stand up for pain patients' rights to effective medicine.

As an American-in-pain it is frustrating to know that the solution to one's agony is just a few words written on a little piece of paper.

Yet, when we find a doctor who is willing to write that prescription we know that there is a very real risk that the drug warriors will find us and make us criminals.

Pain medication should not be a crime, but it is in America.

  • I don't know what to do anymore. In in pain and no one will prescribe the only thing that helps me live a normal life. I feel lost.

  • well said. what a horrible shame.

    luv,

    jessie

  • at least one person understands

  • Great Video Doc!
