  • @pnvCreator Yes. It is a moment in time between two people who have shared everything, because of time. This "time" is accrued from "love". At some point in the time of sharing life, "love" really does turn to hate. Hate is an emotion of passion, as is love, therefore hate is a form of love. TRUTH. Weathering through that stage of passion or not is the make or break of a relationship. Only if you have been through this stage will you know this as truth.

  • It actually comes across to me as a combination of Come As You Are (which is basically Eighties by Killing Joke) and Dirty Magic off Ignition. Regardless, it's a great song.

  • I so much love this song!!!!!! Actually one of my favourite by this band, even if it seems to me like i tend to love all their songs <3

  • I hate Offspring because I LOVE Offspring :X:X:X

  • @BlindDuck1 or perhaps love is hate. or mayby hate and love are both passion and there are more passionate emotions then just love and hate.

  • @coldfrostzero The "yeah save it" and stuff is being passive about the whole break up/fight and just saying "save it, I'm okay! Okay?"..That's how I view these lyrics, and I can completely relate to at least how I come to understand the lyrics but everyone views things differently.

  • @pnvCreator This song is about a couple who are interested in each other but they go their seperate ways, the cancer is his feelings of uncertainty about their relationship which if expressed via the stage, she would weep about it as well. The stage is a reference to the fight about to happen.. The "vultures" are the ones who prey on his(her/their) feelings and picks at them. The "loaded gun" is a reference to something big and usually unspoken but when brought up causes a fight.

  • @LeaveLikeTheSane I just don't here the similarity The Offspring always sounded better than grunge. Don't get me wrong Nirvana was an ok band, but Dave Grohl proves to be the better part of the band. Maybe if Kirt was a Sudafed addict instead of Heroin addict he might have sounded better. But he did prove nothing makes more money than shooting yourself in the face.

  • seriously who keeps putting those jokes in there, they are so freakin funny. my favorites are the ones with the dead baby jokes. oh yeah and this song is way good

  • lol

i dont understand the meaning of the lyrics but the song rules anyway

  • lol

  • I didn't like this song at first. But then I did. THAT'S WHY THE OFFSPRING IS AWESOME
