Hyesung is the first artist to sing this song.

This song came out in summer of 2008. This song was composed by Kim Do Hun with lyrics written by Choi Gap Won for Color Project which was a project that intended to bring music producers and artists in Korea together for a special collaboration.

There is no other cover of this song.

You might be thinking of Prince's "Purple Rain", which is entirely different song altogether.
