Zack & Wiki - The Speedy Ship

Well, now that we're in between regions digging up Barbaros's secret treasures using his cryptic Lores, I'll show you something neat I found while going through the Lores in Jungle Ruins: The Speedy Ship.

The Speedy Ship is one of the upgrades you can give to Maddy. He's a treasure-hunting rabbit who doesn't have a lot of patience. You can send him out to a designated spot on the map, and he'll go out and see if there's any trasure located over there. Normally, you need to clear a stage before he returns with treasure, but with the Speedy Ship, he'll return practically the moment you see him leave. Apparently, he can find treasure in an instant--he just needs a long time to get there. Maddy couldn't be happier than a ship that can travel at light speed, it looks like.

This is great for Zack too, as it means he can now acquire treasure at a far faster rate than before. Here's a video where I've acquired the Speedy Ship and use it to send Maddy out over and over. And, of course, I'll show you the stuff I received.

Don't ask me how to get the Speedy Ship, however. It's randomly located in one of the X Marks the Spot type Treasure Maps, I believe. I got mine after solving the Lore of "A large man waits to hear the sound and lose his limbs," if it helps.

Beats me. I never noticed it when playing in the Barbaros Castle stages.
