The faith is collapsing in every way - and is collapsing by about the same amount!

@WinefrideofWales AMEN! and they've done it! We "straight" RCs are a 'remnant! 2/3 of the Bishops in the USA, moved guilty priests around to avoid 'punishment'. 2/3rds!!!!!
hang on on tight, it's going to get very rough!

One point you are missing here, RealCatholicTV, is that the liberals in charge of the Church WANT to destroy it. They are NOT ignorant about what they are doing and showing proof of the 3 of every 4 Catholics no longer practice does NOT matter to them. They are in positions of power, just like liberal democrats and like it there. The good or bad results of their immoral or heretical doctrines matter to them only as much as it helps keep them in the comfortable position they are in.

@GnlMachoman It is rather grim it would seem. But we have to remember what Christ said: ".....the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it....", all we can do is remain faithful to Jesus and His Church. Pray and stop the silence, it will take all of us! It is our faith, wherever heretics are we must drive them out! God bless!

The video did make me laugh. But the sad thing is 'Catholicism' has been destroyed and rather than being 'salt' and 'light' to non-catholics, catholics are just the same as other people. Divorce, abortion, contraception, don't have a clue about their faith etc. But with the internet the Catholic faith is being taught properly. Catholicism is a life style that is opposed to this world, it's total commitment. I've had to take a hard look at myself and all honesty my faith was 'manure.'

What a bitter, generalizing video. Did you ever think that it isn't necessarily the fault of the person preaching the Gospel but instead that people are rejecting the change of heart and mind that we are called to make? Many find it easier to simply live like everyone else.
krezzykrezz 11 months ago
@krezzykrezz But why are they finding it like this NOW? What has changed? We are not bemoaning a lack of Catholicism, but a FALLING OFF of Catholicism. Why aren't people as faithful as they were before? People have always found living like everyone else easier - but why are so MANY Catholics choosing to abandon the faith and move to sin and heathenism? Or is this answer too bitter and generalizing for you?

@RealCatholicTV First, we are talking about the United States or North America, correct? If not, then I have no idea. I believe that with the media and technology that exists now, we are all faced with "near occasions of sin" more easily than before. I picked up a "health" magazine at my doctor's office today and after about 3 or 4 page turns I was faced with a picture that was, if not pornographic, was the next worst thing. Also, the 1960's saw the height of a revolution against morality. More

@krezzykrezz But who PRODUCES that stuff? Who thinks that sort of thing is okay to display? People who should be led in their spiritual choices by the Church - and for whom the Church has failed. We have priests who declare contraception and abortion are okay. We have priests who have no problem with pornography and masturbation and gay "marriage". It is easy to say the world is so bad priests can't stem the tide, but how did the world GET like that? The clergy MUST share the blame with us.

Michael, by the fruits you shall know the result. Do you think that the Vatican Council II is to blame?
alonelychild 11 months ago
@alonelychild No; Vatican II is very clear on what is permitted, and what is being done is not. What is to blame is people who are doing evil and CLAIMING they are doing it in "the spirit of Vatican II" when they are really just engaging with modernism and other heresies.
