Completely fed up of seeing the vast majority of people saying how shit one or the other is. Michael Jordan is better than Kobe Bryant - yeah. Doesn't mean Kobe is bad, just means Michael is better...

@gdrb2tall - also - Jordan retired in 1993 - came back - and STILL was able to win 3 more championships after being away from the game!

@gdrb2tall - I'm so tired of these kids hyping up kobe. Most of them have never even seen one full game of Jordan with the bulls! I am 34 years old - I watched BOTH Jordan and Kobe in their prime. Jordan played with a much tougher defense. Also - the rules are different - now a days - the ref calls fouls for anything - but back in Jordan's day - those guys put your ass on your back and the ref didn't call it!

Jordan was 33 of 58. Kobe's hit more of them, but I'm relatively certain the percentage is what's the important thing here... Let's not get carried away with ourselves.

Jordan is still a better player. As a player Kobe still takes a lot of silly and difficult shots. Kobe is still a much worse defender. Jordan was always a good defender and tended to pass the ball out if he had a shot he thought was too difficult. Kobe also won 3 championships with Shaq and didn't win Finals MVP once, whereas Jordan won the MVP every time he won a championship. Kobe is good but Jordan is better.
