My first attempt at making a YT Video! Thanks to all my YT Friends: ASAngelo, Zebidee55, Eliseharris, and TheRavenOfPoe, for giving me a little courage and a nudge to give it a try. Music is "Holst-Jupiter", Royalty-free from Incompetech.com. Thank-You for watching! Hope to meet you in the woods one day! : )

  • Hi Brian. I came all the way to your first video (I have to start books from the beginning, too. No skipping!) . It's wonderful! I love the vibrant greenery, the moss (I love moss!), the rocks and the waterfalls. How nice to see this, because when I look out my window right now, there's 2-1/2 feet of snow on the ground. Thanks for this!

  • @grizzlyten You're welcome. This falls doesn't look too high in the video, but it's actually 60 feet high. Which is huge for where I live. It's one of my favorite hiking spots. Brian.

  • Beautiful. Are there any dangerous animals in the woods you hike in?

  • Oh yes!... I worry a good bit about these in descending order: Mountain Lion, Rattlesnake, Wild Pig, Domestic Dogs, and Men! I've had a scare with all of them except the first. The good thing about Mountain Lions is that they are so very rare, you can hike a lifetime and never see one. The bad thing is that they are so silent, stealthy, and deadly. If one does attack, "bang" they hit you and you are finished before you can sort it all out! hehe!

  • That`s quite a list of predators! I hate snakes, why some people keep them as pets is beyond me.

  • I have to agree with you on snakes, fuzzycabin. Twice, on separate hikes, I nearly stepped on a hidden rattlesnake, and they both buzzed me quite loudly. In both cases, it was enough adrenaline to make me leap vertically and cause my heart to beat like crazy! Luckily, they warned me I was too close and didn't strike. For an experienced Hiker. It's one of those few sounds that goes straight to the muscles and doesn't need the brain to process! -It means-MOVE! hehe : )

  • Sorry I only just spotted this! Great footage.

  • Hi Jordan! Well, I'll have to think up something profound I guess, before I Vlog! Hehe! This may take awhile! -Brian.

  • Great nature walk, perfect first video.. Can't wait to see more, maybe one of you vlogging eh? =)

  • Hi An! : )

That was so nice of you to visit and watch my first video. You are right, I go on these hikes because for me, they are therapy. They heal me and recharge me. Water, wind, sunshine, and rain,...they are like nutrients and recharge me!
