  • Yuck! What are the little WHITE WORMS that crawl out of the teabag after five days??

  • The tea bag like object is the lure used to attract the fruit flies into the trap. If the fruit flies do not immediately get stuck on the sticky card, they will occasionally lay eggs on the lure.

Please ensure that the release paper has been taken off of the sticky card.

  • If you find that the fruit flies are not sticking to the paper, it is possible that the card has lost its stickiness. If that is the case we would be happy to send a package of replacement cards and bait for you to try, in case the original sticky cards were defective.

Please feel free to call us at (800) 767-8658, Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm PST, we are always happy to help.

  • More problems with this trap: The flies are getting trapped but the maggot egglings

are finding their way out of the trap and crawling around my living room. Has anyone else got this problem?

  • The trap works well, I just got groced out by the maggot-like creatures. I wouldn't open it to re-moisten anything, with worms crawling around inside. But seeing that I trapped a good 200 flies with one jar, there probably just wasn't any room left on the sticky paper.
