Part 2 of 2

The main bulk of my videos were shot at Yorkgate station (see previous upload), while I spent most of my time taking photos of stock crossing the Belfast Lough, Central Station and a couple of trains at Sydenham Station before I went home.

For a history of the stock seen here, see part 1. (Enterprise not included).

In this video, in order:

Belfast Lough
- Pan shot of Belfast Lough
- Class 450 approaching Belfast Central Station
- Class 3000 slowing for the signal awaiting access to the single track section, awaiting an ECS Enterprise train from Yorkgate depot / Presumably Diesel refueling point
- Class 450 opens up crossing the Lough

Belfast Central Station
- Enterprise departs for Dublin - it made a beastly tone before departure, so loud I had to edit out it made me jump a mile, hense the shaking of camera at end.
- Class 450 departs southbound
- Class 3000 Arrives from the south

Sydenham Station
- Class 3000 departs Sydenham on a service from Bangor.

Next week I explore Southern Ireland's stations. I will be based in Dublin, so if anybody has any ideas or tips for locations and stations to visit I'd appreciate it, I'm looking at going to Dublin Heuston to see the Intercity Services and perhaps Hazlehatch to see it passing there, looks a beastly train.

  • Thanks.

  • Great vid, again 5*.

  • cheers mate :-)

  • Great video! Used to be on them everyday, and I actually miss getting them now!

Just for your info though, the first part is taken on the side of the River Lagan.

The Enterprise was indeed coming back from refuelling at York Road. Normally this would have been done in Dublin, but with the bridge collapse at Malahide, there was no access to the refuelling depot.

  • Thanks for the information, much appreciated

    Kind Regards
