While in LA D. Ramirez filmed a 6 part Masterclass Production Tutorial Video at Icon Collective.

Episode 3 is the episode you have all been waiting for D. Ramirez shows you how to work with beats and hooks up with Steve Duda who introduces his latest plugin "Nerve" - Dont Miss It.

In the videos D. Ramirez takes you through the whole process of creating a track from scratch - finding inspiration, putting down ideas, creating beats, working with synths, basic vocal production, arrangement and final mix-down.

The videos are split into 6 parts (around 40 mins each). The part creating beats we invited Steve Duda to show us his new drum plug-in Nerve and we manipulated all the beats in Nerve and there's also a little run down of the plug-in's features etc.

  • @greedyone75

I think he created a bus that he called "Pre-Master Fader" because he is going to use that bus to master the whole production. He is going to route everything to "Pre-Master Fader" but the "Ghost Track", "Reference Track" you know the track you can add to your production so you can compare it to your production? If you don't create this "Pre-Master Fader" when you master your production, you are going to master your "Ghost Track". but your "Ghost Track" has already been mastered.

  • shameless plug, but I'd never heard of this genius, and learned tonnes from him.

  • Can someone please explain the so called "Pre-Master Fader", because he forgot the explanation of that feature!?!
