Yep, the trailer for the film Zoolander was interrupted by the first coverage of the attacks. The film came out on September 28, 2001, two weeks after the attacks.

David, WNYW cameraman, first eyewitness ever on the ground (not including Dick):

"Incredible explosion. Very very loud"

Second eyewitness on the ground:

"It sounded like a bomb"

Dick then "It could be something internal".

First interview on the ground ever:

Dick: "It's was hit by something or was something inside?"

Woman: "It was inside, it was inside".

And after that, the transmission is over (due to "technical problems") and no more eyewitness on the ground, only by phone.

@altfactor Yeah this was the first. Taken at 8:48am New York time, less then 2 minutes after the first plane hit the North Tower according to Wikipedia.

RIP to the 3000 victims and their families.

Do a search for 9/11 news footage DVD on ebay...there's some jackass that has sold about 500 DVD copies of this. So obviously somebody was doing it.

I believe this was the first TV report of the attack on the World Trade Center, and just seconds after the first radio report (on New York's WCBS Radio; WCBS was in the midst of a regularly-scheduled traffic report and their traffic copter reporter noted smoke coming out of 1 World Trade Center).

Other New York stations and the networks wouldn't go on the air with their first bulletins until about two minutes later.

i for one think it was planned so they could rebuld in that area and osama bin laden and sadamn hussien were the scape goats .the bushes were trying for pay back on the first war .thiswas thier way of going to war .and bush actually lost the election against gore but gore wouldnt go for the war so they used bushes brother at the time the gov.of florida to cheat the ecletion count in florida so bush would take office
