Edmonds, WA on June 17, 2011 with a New Location Discovered/Idiotic Drivers On Crossing.

After I catched all of the Sounder Commuter Trains at Edmonds, I did some exploring and I decided to head down to Haines Wharf Park North of Edmond and I deescovered that there are some decent views that I was able to shoot from that place as I shot both Amtrak Cascades #516 and the BNSF M-EVEPAS freight train. There are different perspectives that I have found in the park, but I'll have to come back later on and visit more. 0:36 - Sounder Commuter Train (SDRX) #1700 departs Edmonds. Cabcar #107 and F59PHI #903.
1:45 - Sounder Commuter Train (SDRX) #1702 departs Edmonds. Cabcar #303 and F59PHI #909.
2:25 - Sounder Commuter Train (SDRX) #1704 makes a station stop at Edmonds. Nice crew members onboard this train. Cabcar #103 and F59PHI #901.
4:25 - Sounder Commuter Train (SDRX) #1706 makes a station stop at Edmonds. Engineer Dennis on the helm. Cabcar #302 and F59PHI #902.
6:01 - As the train departed Edmonds, I took out my Android phone and there were just too many cars hogging at the grade crossing and some of the vehicles trying to make a left turn and the outbound ferry traffic were oblivious to the train horn and the crossing lights and bell. That's when I hit record from my cell phone. It wasn't until the the gates came completely down that's when traffic finally cleared out. Dennis continued to blow the horn hard for traffic and hit the brakes a little bit before traffic finally cleared out.
7:05 - This is the new location at the Haines Wharf Park at Meadowdale, which is north of Edmonds. Here, I got Amtrak Cascades Train #516 crusing along the waters. AMTK P42DC #41 was leading and NPCU 90252 was trailing.
8:04 - The ambient sound of the train horn indicates the BNSF M-EVEPAS Manifest Train is approaching Meadowdale Beach and Haines Wharf Beach. BNSF C44-9W 5241 was leading and BNSF ES44DC 7474 was trailing. This train would have wrapped up my evening.
