@johnsimmance I'm looking into buying a vise much like yours. How big a jaw-opening width does your vise have? There seems to be different sizes

This may seem like a silly question, but why are you not using oil when you drill?
-
nice work. audio should be recorded over the video so it's clearer.
-
nice tools!!! :)

who's morgan freeman?

At around 5:10 you are using something to find the center of the upright, how does that tool work? I love all the things that you machine, you do excellent work, and your voice is very easy to listen too. You might be the next (or last) Morgan Freeman. Please make some more videos.

why so much work for a small steam engine that is good for nothing?
Instead of build a small engine, buil a large one that will be good for the oil crisis that will breack up in the near future.
The steam engine will be the future engine because of the ww3 and the oil crisis.

@barbarotico Each to his own! For you it is good for nothing, so perhaps for me your passions might be good for nothing too! Who knows? We are all different - different is neither better nor worse, just different! But I am sure that many prefer my way of looking at life, and share my passions, as many will share yours.
