  • @HUSKER2010POWER Plus, as much as I hate to give NU credit lol, they will always have the original tunnel walk.

  • @HUSKER2010POWER Actually, the play like a champion sign was first developed by Bud Wilkinson in the 50s...while ND's sign wasn't really used until the Lou Holtz era (70s or 80s, please correct me if I am wrong). I don't think either school stole anyone's tradition, it is just that ND's became more popular for some reason. The other things (Mich/Neb), I can't really say it is a tradition, but more of just a cool thing; if you know what I mean.

  • @minershcky3 fair enough. he was commenting on OU's tradition tho, something i couldn't let slide.

and i hear ya, gd texas taking over. we'll beat em for you, every year. the short horns with bsu oc doestn't even worry me. they have no idea wha'ts coming this year.

  • @rohaynes1 I have all the respect in the world for Oklahoma's football on the field, and our respectful rivalry. I was referring to the pregame traditions- the tunnel walk (NEB), jump up and slap banner (MICH), and play like a champion (ND), 3 traditions from other schools that I had no idea Oklahoma used. What are the origins of Oklahoma using these?

Meanwhile, good luck in the Texas-10 Conference. sleep well knowing you'll never face the Blackshirts again. 'pansies?' are we 5-years old??

  • @marktwilson319 Hey buddy, YOU'RE right I've never spent a credit hour at UNL, thats because I attend an elite school on the east coast. I'll take my 2150 SAT score to the bank, have fun with that 'prestigious' Oklahoma degree! Didn't think it was necessary to proofread a f***ing youtube comment, but you genius OU fans felt the need to divert attention from YOUR copying of other school's pregame tradtions to a minor misspelling.

  • @rohaynes1 he was just commenting that the video is a knock off of Nebraska's Tunnel Walk. trust me, husker fans have great respect for OU. Tom Osborne even said that had we been able to keep our yearly game with OU after the expansion of the Big 8 to the Big 12, it would have been way more difficult to leave. we left because the conference was catering to the Texas schools and neglecting the North. it has nothing to do with being pansies. i hope we see you guys again soon.

  • @HUSKER2010POWER tradition?

Sooner record modern era- 567-172-13 (.763) - No. 1 in Nation

    record Last 75 Years (1936-) 624-201-22 (.749) - No. 1 in Nation

most consecutive Wins 47-Straight, 1953-1957 (NCAA Record)

our tradition is in how we play this game.

meanwhile, good luck in the big 10. sleep well knowing you will never have to play OU outside of a national championship game again. pansies.

its too bad too, it was a great rivalry.

  • @FastFerrari82 learn to spell.
