This dramatic piece of music was used at the start of soundtrack for "Laserium Starship" which was a laser show to music running at The London Planetarium (RIP!) from 1979 to 1985.
This video is still available although you may have to google it. The latest version, made in 2000 was remastered in full Dolby 5.1from the original 4.0 Tomita Master, which had been burried in a salt mine under Kansas City. Patrick Stewart narrated and his voice became a musical instrument. Thanks for the wonderful comments, this was a bear to illustrate and edit.
@acepilotrjv I've no idea. I watched it in 6th grade, and that was something like 6 years ago. If the visual quality is anything to go by, that version is probably rare, more so since it was on VHS. If you're looking for it, I wish you luck in your search.

I think I was around six when I first saw this, but I'm lucky enough that we own the VHS, so I can still occasionally watch it occasionally.
