@Krashkopf really cause when you actually read history... the book makes no sense at all... especially since the amount of distortion is so big that there probably isn't a single page in that book that distorts the truth...
read: "the klein doctrine: the rise and disaster of polemics" and EVERYONE SHOULD! just so they could be cured from this klein nonsense...

In Norway 3 supposed terrorists were arrested last week. Police has been following them for a year, without taking any action til now. If they were so sure that they were committed to terrorism, why didn't they arrest them before now? Now I fear that Norway is staging a mini 9/11 so they can instate laws that would rob us of what little freedom we have. Norway being a small country is already under massive surveillance, and its bound to get worse now. Artificial crisis = stealing civil liberties

The book does not contest the fact that Milton Friedman wanted a smaller government and a freer population. However, this is such a thing as too much freedom - it's called anarchy. Without a moderately sized government to protect human beings from one another, they will step on each other in order to claim the best for themselves.
And if you want a good example of a socialist (not Communist) society, look at Europe. Germans, for instance, have housing listed as a right, not a privilege.

Capitalism is one facet of complex social processes. It is not an ideology. Every society has some monopolies and some areas where cooperative action is more efficient. Only the brainwashed seem to think it is a good idea to enforce one type of economic behavior. These same people feel it is clever to elect public office holders who refuse to perform their duties and failing that, elect office holders who cannot perform them. It's time to recognize the bankruptcy of bumpersticker idealogues.

-l- SHOCK......IS A WEAPON USED IN ALL THE TIMES, BUT NOT ONLY THE INFORMATION IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WEAPON AGAINST THE SHOCK, ALSO THE OBSERVATION AND THE OWNE CONCLUTION OF THE SITUATION -l-
Ron Paul believes in liberty, not torture. Ron Paul supports the idea that individuals have rights and should be free, that included freedom from any group that would strip them of life, liberty, or their pursuit of happiness. It is the neo-cons who are distorted and twisted the idea of a "free market" into a globalism that favors corporations and the rich.

Ron Paul puts America first...Americans are also the most charitable people on this planet (we give where monopolies take). The WTO, UN, IMF, NAFTA, CAFTA, Federal Reserve, Corporate Monopolies are the REAL poison on this planet.
