the military runs in my family take my hat off and cover my heart w pride just like my stepdaddy and granddaddy taught me, i aint shy for wat i believe in and sometimes i think some ppl forget just how lucky we r to have brave ppl fightin to keep us free and i kno every time i c a soldier i thank them for my freedom. god bless our troops.

My ex husband was in the Marines for 4 years and served 2 tours in Iraq and I have a lot of friends that are still in so I know how hard the military life is. This songs still makes me cry every time I hear it, not just because it reminds me how hard the deployments I went through were, but also for all the amazingly strong women who are still going through them.

im very lucky. mt brother is in the marines but he is stationed in Japan for 16 more months. we usually get to talk to him weekly but still, will never be happy till hes in my arms and home safe and sound.

for all of us, we have to be strong for them cause remember we are their backbone. my boyfriend leaves in a month and my best friend just left three weeks ago and its hard but when we stay strong they are able to stay focused and get home to us safely. i too will and am missing them. im five months pregnant with my second his first and neither of them will be here with me, nor do i have family near by. but knowing they love me and having the memories we have comforts me daily.

my fiancee is in the army. and he is for 15 month in iraq...15 month r so long...he comes home in nov...half of time is over.....i miss u....
i feel me weak inside but outside i show power n pride for u....i would wait a lifetime of u
