@thomastmwc Callas, Deutekom, and Sutherland all had a much more powerful E flat by far. Lily Pons had a much more reliable high E flat and F for that matter. Pons sang this same scene transposed upward, ending it on an F. But I do hear what you're hearing that her high notes have a nice balance between power and stability.
