2014 Seventh Annual Polar Bear Plunge: http://www.firstgiving.com/fasthounds.... These people raise money for greyhounds by collecting pledges and then jumping into Lake Michigan at 8:00 AM on January 1st. Today it was 23 F and the windchill was 11 F. The lake was frozen and it was unclear if people would take the plunge. This video is of the first person to take the plunge. He had to break the ice and then he chose to sit in it. After he went, other people got the courage and went after him.
