=Story=
*It has been three years since the war started. Gondor has managed to defend their city from Rohan for a moment, but the war between brothers has come to no end. There is still a cold darkness that lingers in the mind of the recovering soldier Peregrin Took. He has gone through so many losses in his life; swearing loyalty to Gondor in honor of his fallen comrade Boromir, loosing the love of his life to the Captain of Gondor, having his best friend join the enemy's forces (Rohan) only to watch him and his sheildmaiden die, and becoming almost fatally wounded after his comrades fell. To Pippin, the days grow longer and the nights even more so.
*While at a simple tavern, Pippin cannot even look Violet in the eye. They have remained close despite her betrayal. The cold truth is that he still loves her and cannot live without her. But he never shows it. Violet visits him often, checking on him to make sure he is okay. Sometimes, Pippin believes that she loves him too, but it is not true. She worries about her Captain...
*Violet cannot help but gaze into her Captain's eyes. She will do anything to have him come home safe. As soldiers rush to prepare to march to another battle, Violet offers Faramir him her family heirloom, a silver necklace with the protection of the ancient Goddess of the stars. Faramir looks at her for a moment, in awe of her gesture of love. He softly grasps her hand, knowing he may not be able to grasp it for a long time. Images of Pippin flash before Violet's eyes. He was innocent and happy then. She had loved him for so long, a love so strong. Violet breaks away from Faramir's grasp. Sadness creeps into the Captain's cold eyes.
*In the throne-room, Captain Faramir discusses matters regarding Rohan with Pippin and other soldiers. Violet was there to wish both men goodbye. She is silent, but only smiles at Faramir, ignoring Pippin completely. Pippin grows more distraught every day. All she sees is Faramir, which is slowly consuming Pippin with jealousy. With one last look at his beloved Violet, Faramir leaves for battle.
*Six months pass and Faramir misses Violet every day. He would sneak out from his duty to briefly see her from time to time hidden within a forest. While discussing military matters, Faramir would think of how close Violet and Pippin were...too close for his liking. But he still loves her and she continues to return her affections. Faramir never takes off Violet's necklace and vows never to do so, even if he dies.
* The Steward of Gondor proclaimed that Osgiliath was overrun by Rohan soldiers. It was Faramir's job to reclaim it. The Captain holds Violet's necklace close to him. It is the only thing that gives him hope and keeps her in his memory.
*Fire demolishes Osgiliath. The attack on Osgiliath is not going as planned. Violet is in shock of her city being attacked as well. She aids fallen soldiers. Pippin rushes to the water's edge to aid Captain Faramir. Blood is spilt everywhere. Faramir runs around to corner only to see Violet fallen to her knees. He rushes to her side. Night falls a eerie darkness remains in the city. The Gondorian soldiers are all waiting for Rohan's next attack. Pippin says goodbye to Violet before returning to his post. Faramir waits for the enemy to invade. He grows nervous and thinks of Violet's love, which gives him courage. He picks up his sword, cutting through the Rohan soldiers...the battle begins...

Epilogue:
"Watch out!"
The sounds of death, boulders falling, hand to hand combat, and moans from the wounded fill the air.
Faramir breathes hard. He hears the scream of Nasgul, a dragon. He warns others. "Stay here, keep out of sight." Violet's voice grows faint, "are you ok?" Faramir shouts orders to soldiers around him. They all have met their doom.

  • @ErewinOfImladris Thank you so much! I was working on the vid for months and finally decided to post it after editing the picture in the end. It was tough, so I unfortunately had to cut part of the song. "9 crimes" is a beautiful song, but it's so hard to edit with pippin and faramir cuz they are not in as many scenes as (example) frodo or aragorn, etc.

  • @EdwardEclipse lol the best word ever XD

  • @PookieWowza I know! Isn't it such an epic song? "9 crimes" has so much raw emotion in it, that i just HAD to edit with it. Thanks for the comments :D!!
