Here's a sneak peek at a new freshwater LED aquarium light being launched next month from Ecoxotic. The freshwater planted aquarium shown in the video has been illuminated exclusively with a Freshwater Panorama LED Module. The spectrum of light emitted from the new module is excellent for planted aquariums and larger marine refugiums. The new Freshwater Panorama LED modules will be available in November, 2011.

  • @NYREPS Yes, its on our website. It's the Freshwater Panorama Module kit.

  • What are those fish called at 0:42?

  • @flippydog101 They are called Endlers Guppies.

  • What's the orange fish at top on 0:34? My friend bought me 4 of those, but she doesn't know what kind of fish they are...

  • definately named this video correctly...such a tease! lol I want more shots and full tank ones.

  • @steph0ac those are zebra nerite snails.

  • I have endlers Guppysm, and they reproduce very quickly :P

  • Anyone know what the brown and gold large snail is called? I'd love to get some. I say bring on the LED lights! I'm tired of replacing my lights every 6-8 months. Calculate the cost of that over 3-4 years and it can equal the higher initial cost of one of these LED setups.

  • @mercedesff2 Unfortunately there is no "strip per gallon rule", usually it depends on the depth of your tank, dimensions and what you would like to grow. If you send us an email at info@ecoxotic.com along with your tank information, we would be happy to size the lighting system for you.
