I thought it was ever so unfair to give her this song, so much dancing, and all the others are getting lifted and stuff, but they're not having to jump around the stage! It must have been so difficult! It didn't show her off enough on this show, she had much more potential than we were shown as an audience.

Probably because if they picked their own songs, they would only ever pick songs they know makes them sound good. The judges want to see what they'll do with challenges and with different types of songs.

Can Aoife dance? Can Helena make me cry? Can Leanne be quirky and playful? Questions that might never have been answered if they picked their own songs.

It helped her in the long run though. You seen her in Legally Blonde with her first routine?- super!

I think Aoife did her very best with this song, but it was a dreadful choice from whoever picked it! The routine reminds me of an exercise video. Connie, Siobhan, Helena and Abi all had sexy/beautiful routines, so I think this set up Aoife at a disadvantage.

LOVE Aoife!! I thought she did very well in this (then again I have a hard time finding fault with her, shes so great!) She's an amazing dancer as well. xx

I think Aoife should recieve some credit for this performance, no one can blame her for trying! This song is not very suited for a soprano, but she does sing it well.

I wonder wheter the BBC decided that they could not have an Irish Maria, and therefore gave her this completely inappropriate song. As well as being a boy's song there is far to much dansing for Aoife.
