Macs = Hipster douchebags
PC's = Get Shit done

@PackFanDave I only absorbed part of that comment. But also...
1 - Macs got hacked first at a recent hacking conference
2 - Eugene Kaspersky (owner of Kaspersky Labs) Said that "Mac and Linux users will be 'easy targets' for hackers and malware writers over the next few years"
3 - Microsoft changes their OS less frequently than Apple. it took 10 years between XP and Vista, then 5 between vista and 7. They still support XP.
You know nothing about the two. So shut the fuck up.

@wehatemacs Ok, THAT is a valid point, thank you; yes, the Windows 7 updates haven't needed a restart recently. The same can be said for Mac OS updates. However, I don't see how a Mac unreliable. From my experience (3 years now), I haven't had any problems with a Mac since Leopard while running a VM for Linux Ubuntu. But since that's deviating from the topic, I won't post any more about that.

Macfags, you mad?

@MorkaGraven get over it, a slight mistake about years doesn't change the sentiment or what I was getting at with that comment. I know plenty, and it's pedantic bitches like you who love to ignore the statements aim just to pick pointless and stupid holes in things. yeah, I may have made a mistake, but that doesn't change the fact that I know plenty enough to know that what packfandave said was a big load of jive. what business is it of yours anyway, the comment wasn't to you.

@wehatemacs Get your facts right, otherwise you too know nothing.
Windows XP is 10 years old this year. Vista was released in 2007, 6 years after the release of XP and Windows 7 came about 2 years after that in 2009.
A fact is that when Macs do have a crash they do tell you whats wrong.

@insecur not as much as windows tells you. and windows has proper error messages. Programs don't just close and expect you to look at the log. So no, not a fact, your opinion.

You guys are facking morons.
Windows (Both on XP and 7): OK let me install this update...gotta restart. Upon restart, OH LOOK MORE UPDATES! OK gotta restart again. Upond restart, OH LOOK EVEN MORE UPDATES!
Mac: OK let me install this COMBO update. OK gotta restart. Upon restart, oh look, only ONE other update that's not needed and even if I install it, it doesn't require a restart.
So, how does a Mac need to restart more than a Windows computer exactly? Have you guys even USED a Mac before?

@miceblue425 I own a mac, That's why I ended up putting windows on it and hating them for all eternity for giving me a childs toy rather than a proper computer.
You know fuck all about windows if you are playing the 'it has to restart all the time' card. This present boot of my OS has been on for the past 6 weeks without the need for a restart. before that I think I had my record up to around 10 months. I have to monitor these things because of dicks like you playing that card.

@wehatemacs How am I being a dick if I'm stating a FACT. Windows doesn't have combo updates, so users need to restart multiple times to install them. You still haven't told me why you would need to restart a Mac more times than a Windows computer while I just stated the opposite.
miceblue425 2 weeks ago
@miceblue425 I have never had to restart more than once for updates. They all install at the same time, and finalize during restart. Maybe in the early days of 7, but no, not recently. The reason you would need to restart a mac more times is because they are unreliable, and in my experience, overheat when you are trying to do something decent with them. However, you are totally missing the point of this video. In fact you are aiding this video in it's end purpose.
