This video is created for the Humanities (HSS 205) Class "Technology & American Society" at Northeastern Technical College. In Part 2: "The Middle North American Colonies," instructor J. Michael Jeffries describes the impact of geography and climate on the development of the Middle North American Colonies. These colonies were established in a region of North America where the climate is predominately moderate, thus making sustainable crops such as tobacco a major stable of society and directly leading to large scale agriculture or a plantation system and the use of slave labor.
