He was the winner of a straw poll of over 500 media, news, Hollywood and New York power players at the first event of the 2008 White House Correspondents Dinner Festivities. The 11th Annual Garden Brunch hosted by Tammy Haddad and Ted Greenberg as well as Hilary Rosen, Alex Castellanos, Debbie Dingell, David Adler, Kathyrn Leyman and Beth Viola featured the poll that asked Who do you think will be the next president ?"
