The Pitt - Perforator

Unique Assault Rifle.
It is handed to the player by Everett after giving 90 Steel Ingots to him.
- This version is much more powerful than The Infiltrator, and has a smaller spread.
- Can be repaired with Assault Rifles, which is handy because it degrades at an alarming rate that can only be fed by a constant supply.
- It functions like the Silenced 10mm Pistol. The player can shoot at enemies without alerting others. As for the type of scope, it has about the same level of zoom as the Scoped .44 Magnum.
- Due to the smaller spread and higher damage, players will find this weapon much more usable over longer distances than the The Infiltrator.
- This weapon fires slower than The Infiltrator, about 1 time for every 1.5 times The Infiltrator does.
- This weapon only fires two shots per VATS turn.
- Best used in combination with a high Sneak character wearing Chinese Stealth Armor for myriad Sneak attack criticals. This minimises the weapons drawbacks apart from it's fast degrade.

I have a unwritten rule when it comes to DLC...do everything possible in the main game before I get to the DLC. Which bugs the ever living fuck out of me because I LOVE THIS GUN!!!

hey guys i need a opinion here, i got an assault rifle from operation anchorage which does 65 dmg and is polished dark grey to make it look cool and i have a perforator that has 61 dmg and it bugs the fuck outta me because they have advantages and disadvantages, what should i choose SOMEONE HELP

@supersledger901 the entrance of the pitt has three raiders that all have infiltrator, one is when you fight the last opponent in the hole who has the infiltrator and the preforator can be collected by turning in 90 ingots

@sornlol1 Because...it's the main game. I like to finish my dinner before I get to the desert, you get what I'm saying. That and I don't like jumping into DLC right out of the box...or rather the Vault (badum tch).

@orlokc1 The Perforator is a unique Infiltrator. It does more damage per shot, has a higher DPS, critical chance, critical damage, but a higher AP cost and significantly less durability. The biggest differences are the reduced rate of fire; the Perforator fires 2 shots for every 3 shots that the Infiltrator can fire and the reduced spread (which makes the rifle functionally more accurate over a longer distance).
