you cant set it to direct on optical only on analog

on games i set the soundcard to DTS 5.1 and on optical i set it to movie.... not sure if thats 100% correct but it sounds good ;)

bad thing about playing games on projectors is that it runs up the bulb life really quick.

I have the Logitech Z5500 on optical cable from my Asus Xonar D2X soundcard... running Crossfire HD2900XT graphics cards on a 3.4ghz overclocked Q6600 quad core pc...
sound is unbearalby good!!!! the graphics are being held up by the fact that I have to run them at 1280X1024... with my graphics cards I could run it 1080p and still get 100fps ;)
