Care to enlighten me then? Please enumerate some contemporary musicians and their tracks so I can compare them with TD and Klaus Schulze. To clarify things a bit, I was talking only about electronic music. Today's modern electronic music where loud beat, drums and mindless scratchy effects dominate the entire song is a rather poor attempt at writing music and certainly has not much depth. They want to cover lack of ideas and musical mastery with loud noises.

@vandonridge Clearly, you haven't been listing to the right modern music. Good music isn't dead, and it never will be. Pop music might be garbage, but obviously there's way more out there.

@dylanwhostones So people nowadays don't put work into their music? A lot don't I suppose, but the same could be said back then as well. I don't understand your point here. And I actually compose quite avidly so I know the work put in thank you very much.
Just to clarify, I like music from the 60's and 70's more than today's music in general as well. There's just no need to bitch about it like everyone on these sort of older music videos always tend to do. All I mean to say.

@MasterYumyums So people like you can learn a word called "respect". Great music like this does not fall like manna from heaven. It has to be created, which is painful exhausting and thankless task. Whats the words in that great "Fort Minor" song.
"Its10% luck; 20% skill; 15% concentrated power of will.
5% pleasure ;50% pain & 100% reason to remember the name".

@MasterYumyums Amen :)

I say that on other you tube songs of Td and some idiots begin to curse me ....
i say to one of them...TD is not your home....go to your home and leave us in peace...i seek his channel and there was posted a 50 track and he adresed me invective on a TD track....so i say to him...go home idiot
Why does everyone on these videos have to be old and critchety with the "back in MY day!!!" stuff? Why can't we just accept music as music, regardless of when it came out? There's great music today, and there was awful music back then. Finding the treasures is what's important.

Nobody makes this kind of music anymore. That is so sad.
The form has eaten the essence. Nowadays if a song doesn't have strong drums or rhythm it is deemed inferior, no one wants to invest his intellect into deciphering subtle messages and meanings hidden in gems like this one.
