@rwilb2 Your right, I have never purchased a gun in NY but a family member has. Second, I'm not a "sheeple"; what I am is a person who likes to live my life. If I were so scared of the "bogeyman" than I wouldn't fly at all. Instead I opt for the scan, and shortly thereafter I'm on my flight to my chosen destination. Is that being afraid? .When the Court's interpretation of past and current case law leads to a better solution I will be all ears. In the meantime, I will continue to fly.

@ayresg54 It is not the airlines who have imposed the grope or go naked rule in airports. It is the government. The 4th Amendment prohibits the government from doing this. But sheeple like you are happy to let the bogeyman of "terrorism" take away your Constitutional rights.
You've obviously never tried to buy a gun in NY if you think it's a mere matter of "red tape".

@rwilb2 You can own a gun in NY. You either don't want to be bothered with getting past the "red tape" or you can't get past the "red tape". Traveling on an airplane is neither a right, privilege or "entitlement". If you don't want to be scanned or groped then there are plenty of other transportation options available to you. If the freedom to keep your hard owned money was such an issue then we wouldn't be discussing gun ownership and plane tickets. Good Day.

@ayresg54 What freedoms have been taken from me? The freedom to keep my own hard earned money. The freedom to own a gun to protect myself and my family (I live in New York where they've done their damnedest to make legal gun ownership impossible). The freedom to get on a plane without an electronic strip search or a physical groping.

But note that Great Britain has become a police state, with video cameras everywhere and laws that can put you in jail for saying something politically incorrect. When the state gives you everything the state can take everything away.

Thank you, progressives, for encouraging us to vote for Sharron Angle! If progressives demonize Sharron Angle, you encourage us vote for her. As a general rule, the more progressive demonize someone, the better that person is and the more able that person is to help us defend ourselves -- and our children and grandchildren -- from Obama, Reid and Pelosi and their job-killing, economy-killing, freedom-killing scams like Obamacare and cap and trade. We’ll vote for Sharron Angle!
