Their is no rebel movement in the south ,but rather there is a peaceful independence movement , which struggles to liberate former peoples democratic Republic from the North Yemeni military presence which occupied south Yemen in 1994 and continues to oppress the original inhabitants to this day and blunder their resources, kill and maim the people of South Arabia, . Its the other way around. Al-Qaeda comes into Yemen, America responds. Al-Qaeda comes into Afghanistan, America responds. Al-Qaeda comes into Pakistan, America responds. The only exception seems to be Iraq.

Do not forget about the alliance between the Yemeni regime and Al Qaeda . In 1994 President ALi Abdullah Saleh recruited terrorist who just returned from Afghanstan to fight the communists from south Yemen, both Al Qaeda and the Yemeni regime fought agtainst the communists from the south and eventually occupied the country of south yemen, . This alliance between the corrupt Yemeni regime and terror groups is very well known in Yemen and in the region , Today the Yemeni regime uses Al qaeda
