If doesn't look like that when Krugman speaks, but the reasons why he stand against neclassical models is that he sees inherent failures in markets -- that you already know. What you more than likely ignore is that those claims don't hang in the air: he has maths on his side. So, if you want to reply to him, you need to take the kind of models he uses and prove them to be inconsistent or at least partly mistaken.

Ahahah... you refute Krugman? That's a new one. I'd certainly bet a naked run in the streets you don't even have an idea of what models he's using and how they work; all you have in mind is the wording, which is the conclusion, not the proof, and you disagree with it.
Take some of Stiglitz's work on information asymmetry... if you understand it, you also know it means markets cannot be spontaneously Pareto efficient. So, either the model is wrong, or they made a mistake using it.

"We're 15 trillion dollars in debt and paying interest on that debt constantly. I know!!!!! Let's spend more money and put ourselves DEEPER in debt to solve the problem!! Genius!!! " -Paul Rational Progressiv3 Krugman
Damn I wish I could solve my personal debt problems so easily. Krugman is a genius

@raftjm Will gave many specifics, a whole list.

Krugman's reaction once George Will starts talking is just priceless.
-
I really don't understand why anyone takes Krugman seriously; he made unsupported pronouncements which, as Will pointed out, flew directly in the face of facts and experience. Will probably needed a drink and a shower after having to sit next to the guy.

Krugman called himself rational.lol.a rational person learns from their mistakes.if i get out constantly on a fly ball to centre field and then blame my batmaker am i rational?
-
Krugman is specific, Will as usual give one liners.
@Dr41ny I believe in neoclassical economics, not Keynesian economics. Don't take my assertions to mean I'm ignorant of his perspective, I refute his perspective.

They will always say too little too late. And it will take them a decade to realize how wrong they are. Why go the path of Japan or repeat the great depression? We know fiscal stimulus doesn't work. Lets not do it.
