"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell Live

Excerpt from the musical "You're All I Need To Get By: The Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell Story" written, directed and produced by Michael Ajakwe Jr. at the Stage 52 Playhouse and Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles in 2002. Additional producers include Kosmond Russell, Ian Foxx and James V. Burks. In this scene, Marvin (William L. Johnson) and Tammi Terrell (Ashley Ta'mar Davis), at the insistence of in-house producer Harvey Fuqua (Darron Johson) perform together for the first time singing a tune written by Motown's latest young songwriters-- Nick Ashford (Robert Doqui Jr.) and Valerie Simpson (LaTamarra Smith). The incredible band you hear backing them up as The Funk Bros. are Scott "Bugs" Allen (Muiscal Director/bass), Keith "Beetle" Price (drums), and Earl Harris (guitar). The cool 60s wardrobe is courtesy of costumer Tuesday Conner of Los Angeles.

@jazzmine0091 yea. Umm...James brown and David Ruffin both beat her bad so people say that has some of what to do with her brain tumor and her death; but as a young girl she also suffered really bad headaches.

ILuvChocolate2012 I was watchin her too. Tammi Terrell died because of a brain tumor. Her husband David Gruffon abused her. Many rumors say it was because of him that she died.
