  • I was skeptical at first, but then I tried it. This is genius!

  • @DenimDude the bands are pulling your hands towards each other but the friction between your hands and the floor would usually be enough to counteract this force. Placing your hands on the slides eliminates this friction, thereby forcing your rear shoulder and rotator cuff muscles to engage to stop your hands from sliding towards each other

  • this is the only video iv´e found on you tube that covers this issue about shoulder injury pain and problems .. for people who body build or lift weights ...

  • interesting

  • Coach Nick - I am missing the point of the slides under the hands. The exercise seems perfectly doable without them...?

  • lol thats what i was thinking.. i fast forward too!

  • Thanks for the video, this worked like a charm! Using a resistance band from Billy's Boot Camp and a couple tiles placed face down on my carpet (slid freely), I was able to do push ups for the first time in months without shoulder pain. Having the back muscles engaged made all the difference.

  • why do we need the band etc , it seems like a normal pushup to me

  • stop talking mannn u talk too muchhh!
