Jinpachi gets bashed for being cheap and cheesy, but as for being cheap, like every other character, he has limits and weaknesses. Once you learn how to recognize his moves and defend against them, the playing field is leveled. As for being cheesy, he actually has a nice range of moves and he can be played entirely different from the way the CPU uses him. He is a bit over-powered, but then again so was Heihachi in Tekken 1, Devil in Tekken 2, and True Ogre in Tekken 3, so it keeps with tradition.

Persoanlly, I don't prefer to use Jinpachi in VS matches (and you can't pick him in Online), but I do try to learn every character, and I did have fun punishing the CPU with him. So if you're going to use him anyway, here's some combos :)

NOTE:: The 4 combos marked by the double x (XX) are NOT guarunteed. I posted them because, if you watch other Jinpachi vids you see a lot of that crap, and I want you to be able to differentiate between what's possible and what's practical.

Rising Uppercut:
#1) Rising Uppercut / Orochi's Bite {54}
#2) Rising Uppercut / Skull Crack {56}

XX) Rising Uppercut / Violent Undertow (x4) / dash foward / Violent Undertow / foward / Oni Claw {113}

NOTES: (1) The Koumoku Kick stuns your opponent briefly (check the Hit Analysis) and therefore the combo follow-ups are only guarunteed if you do the next hit fast enough. So use them at your own discretion!! (2) Some of the combos can only be done depending on whether you are in human form or one of the monster forms. (3) When doing the Raging Tempest (air grab) it's usually necessary to hold foward as you do it. (4) The Left Uppercut is not listed in the Command List. It's down-foward+LP.

  • @People who are Fuzzing about the Combos

    god, you guys are retarded. As the Title said, they are COMBO SUGGESTIONS and is probably one of the few DECENT combos here on Youtube. The maker of this surely placed lots of effort on making this. If you people can't learn to appreciate repetition in Tekken for maximum damage, then you guys are just stupid. Sheesh. I don't get why you peoplare flaming this so much.

    By the Way, this is NOT PSP, its PS3, and Jinpachi is usable WITHOUT Cheats

  • Well maybe that's the way you have to do it, but I'm certain I never hit Divine Fist with one character before working on another.

    And since I have 4 different save files (as DR save files can only be used on PSP they were first made) which all had a minimum of 4 DFs, I highly doubt what you're saying is true.

    But still, you could shut us all up with some proof, like I dunno, a quick youtube video?

  • @crookedletterk And that's why he has limits.

  • @crookedletterk In TTT2 Jinpachi`s Rising Uppercut doesn`t have the same Properties as in Tekken dr and he looks Way Better in TTt2 too.

  • You simply do the button input very rapidly. It takes some practice.

  • @crookedletterk holy shit for real? how you do those fast uppercuts? please tell me

  • @ThePhantom2K9 I agree for Tekken Tag 2(see my TTT2 Video that is on my channel).
