  • I feel like I wouldn't care much about this piece if not for how amazingly its fits with the title, and by God does it fit amazingly well with the title.

Did Maxfield make any compositions that are more "contemporary"? (asked as an open-minded listener)

  • Accidental self-destruction is the cause of death of more than a few names on The Wall - the Vietnam Memorial. Christopher Corwin Cook was my friend in 1971.

  • @SweetSweetWaldo Possibly a combination. The psychedelics could have been affecting his thinking process which led him to jump out the window possibly, but that's is a very rash method of suicide. We'll never know.

  • @HAMayoral I have never heard a definitive answer as to whether the fatal fall was an accidental death or a suicide. Maxfield was known to use psychedelics, and some people speculate he was under the influence when he fell out the window. I tend to doubt it. I think it was a suicide...but I don't know why he did it.

  • Wow, I didn´t expect to find this piece on youtube, it´s great you posted it!

  • @SweetSweetWaldo An accidental suicide then... Interesting.

  • Thanks for posting Maxfield's music. This man's name must be kept alive. He left behind and elegant portfolio. Everything he did was excellent. Maxfield's early demise is that he fell out a window. It might have been accident, it might have been suicide, but stories allude to Maxfield's frequent 'shrooming!
