@Lezlee379 Te habla un afroboricua, de Carolina, y fanatico de la música cubana y boricua, y hay que decir que esta canción, francamente, tiene muy poco de boricua, excepto por Maelo y la mayoría de los músicos que le acompañan. Este tema es un guaguancó afrocubano, grabado antes que Maelo por Los Muñequitos de Matanzas. Maelo grabó otras rumbas cubanas, como por ejemplo "Cantar maravilloso", otro clásico de Los Muñequitos. Esa la grabó con el boricua Kako y el cubano Patato en la percusión...

@elchip30 I agree with you bro that Ismael Rivera is #1 and Hector Lavoe is #2, but I do not agree with you and with my close friends that Frankie Ruiz is #3. The first time I heard Frankie Ruiz, honestly I thought it was a woman singing.
We must consider and show respect to the following Duros tambien, Cheo Feliciano, Justo Betancourt, Ruben Blades, Ismael Quintana, Lalo Rodriguez, Santitos Colon.. They are more worthy to be #3 instead of Frankie Ruiz. Sorry bro.
