Some nice tunes from this awesome system. The Amiga has the best audio of any system I've ever heard. SLL2 and V42 were the first tracks I ever heard and I listened to them nonstop! It's hard to believe these tunes come from a computer released over 20 years ago. Enjoy!

  • I'm the guy who wrote track #8 on the list (Shut Up & Listen). Funny to find my attempts at music here via Google :-)

  • @ttherkelsen Really!? I uploaded it because I could not find it anywhere else. Fortunately I downloaded it when you had a web page back then. It's one of my all time favorites.

  • Great music. Please post a full track listing

  • @6581r2 Thanks, glad you like it. I've been thinking about posting my music here on YT with the video track being the scrolling tracker output from OpenMPT, and leave a link for the source in case someone wanted a local copy or see how it was made (not that any of my mods were that complicated).. but never got around to it.

  • I do have to confess that up to 2002 I used some ST-samples for drums in a heavy metal project. Still haven't found better sounding machine drums.

  • @SquareWaveHeaven Without the ST-xx disks there wouldn't have been any mod music.

  • Why are the channels mixed together? It should be 2 channels left, 2 channels right! Amiga hardware stereo.

  • Wow so many of these samples are ingrained into my mind and come from the ST-0x disks.

  • The power of Paula, hell yeah.

  • I had pretty much all of these mods, they sound so 80's now. mod.lars was probably my favourite, followed by echoing.

  • @aPhewtUnes Dude did you really make mod.echoing? that's a classic!
