''Audition'' is a Japanese psychological horror from 1999 based on Ryu Murakami novel of the same title, directed by well-known Takashi Miike. The ambigious story about an extremel solitude and inseparably connected with each of us the desire of close with Ryo Ishibashi as Shigeharu Aoyama, a middle-aged man who decides to hold a mock-audition, in which young women would audition for the ''part'' of Aoyama's new wife, under the impression that they are auditioning for a new film, and remarkable creation of Eihi Shiina- a misterious, beautiful girl called Asami Yamasaki who quickly completely enchants main character.
She spends in her empty apartment whole days, sitting in a strange position on the floor next to the telephone. But it's not the only uneasy thing.
