Monster Maulers - Arcade (1993)

little known arcade game called Monster Maulers aka yukyoku Sentai Dadandarn. Features a few well known konami enemies. I used Toneman's idea of controlling 2 characters.

silly pc joypad isn't designed for street fighter-esque games like this so I was button mashing a lot...

Hm .. the easter island golem is very similar to "Kazandan" from the anime/manga akazukin chacha.. and the blue demon is heavily inspired by Blanka from street fighter. is it really that hard to make a handful of monsters?

6:05...I love the use of the music from Salamander (Lifeforce). Not to mention the boss looks highly resembles the first boss of said game. Only fitting since it's all from the same company.
