TDSB Mosqueteria Protest Aug. 08, 2011

Should tax payers be forced to house, accommodate and help propagate the dangerous ideology and fear based oppressive religion of Islam right in front of the most vulnerable in our society. Yes in the face of our children and in our Public Schools they are bringing in Imams and having prayer and instruction. Many are standing up and saying NO WAY!! Why did they prohibit the Lord's Prayer and Christian references now only to bring in the destructive subculture and oppression of Islam. This is madness. Please speak up!! Who is behind this?

Sad sad people. A few years ago they were protesting blacks going to white schools.

The Muslim population is so small that it is hardly of a consequence. There are some places that have larger Muslim populations but there is still no reason to fear or start a lynch mob. The real problem in N.America is the economy, not Islam. When you wake up one day and the money is worthless and there are no jobs Islam won't be to blame. You will be to blame partly because you wasted your time with this

It's implementation will take away freedom and dont be naive this is happening all over Europe No pork in cafeterias Separate hours for public swimming for Muslims and non-Muslims (infidels) thats you if your not Muslim. @YounesBassamTV Weather I call myself a Canadian or not does not really matter. I am legally a Canadian Born Citizen. I know no other place in the world that I can call my home and native land. Regarding the birth rate you are right. The sinful practice of murdering unborn children is a curse to any country as well as any official recognition or attempt to legitimize homosexuality. muslims r not trying to make eveybody muslim, gosh they jus want to pray a 5-10min prayer. (thats all) muslims r not allowed to force ppl in to islam according to islam and for ppl who do convert to islam or r muslims must be submissive towards god and the prophets, if u want to remain watever religion that it is u want to be go ahead muslims won't try and stop u jeese

@jolie416 Please do some searching on what is going on in France and in England. They are taking over entire streets to pray and will not allow even those who live there to walk by. Don't seek to find this in the mainstream media they are petrified by political correctness. Please do some research on the countries that Islam has taken over and are trying to take over. This is not an unloving irrational fear but an appropriate reaction to fight to maintain our freedoms in the West. Thank you.

If kids want to take time out in a specific school location to pray for any religious denomination-fine let them pray. Or even join at school any religious or political club.

Education is about teaching, learning and exchange of thoughts and ideas.

why don't christian also protest for the freedom of their prayers too ?

sadly evey sunday the people attending church are decreasing the faith is gone from their hearts !

but check muslims on their friday you see alot of them even outside their mosque from their large numbers
