Two people are under arrest in a bizarre break in and vandalism at the famed Artesia Cemetery on Tuesday, December 27. Jason Fluharty, 29, of Torrance and Jolynn Ramirez, 29, of Artesia were arrested for breaking and entering, burglary, and vandalism at the Artesia Cemetery. The Cerritos Sherriff Station was alerted when cemetery employees found evidence of the break-in between 7 and 8 a.m.
The cemetery surveillance cameras caught footage of the act, which occurred sometime between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m. Los Cerritos Community News and NBC LA have been given video footage of the bold break in. Shot by LCCN Reporter Randy Economy and LCCN Intern Maria Bolanos.
