My dead Toshiba EP35 HD-DVD player

EDIT1: I have a brand new player since mid january.

My less than 2 month old HD-DVD player refuses HD-DVDs and CD audios.

In order of appearance:
- Toshiba HD-EP35 HD-DVD player.
- a HD-DVD: Shrek 3.
- a non copy protected CD: Marillion Misplaced Childhood.
- a zone 2 DVD: Shrek 2.
- my hands.

Only the DVD is accepted by the reader. Other media give a painfull "No disc" both on the player display and TV.
