Fullilove and Fleming: Editoral

This is the segment we received an emmy nomination in 2001. Our news director came up with an idea to have an editorial with 2 different viewpoints. We already had the talent with our sister radio stations. They are Janis Fullilove and Mike Fleming. Mike was conservative in his views, Janis bordered liberal in hers. Mike and Janis brought their talents to it. All I had to do was make it look nice. The split screen was my contribution and thanks to Bobby Walker and Mark Leithner for the opening it was a great segment.

This particular one was about John Walker Lindh. His capture was a big story at the time. We wanted to be a different kind of editorial that pushed the envelope. Some said we went a little too far on this one. I will let you be the judge. It was our most memorable segment.
